How to arrange it

  1. Fill the vase halfway with cool water and add flower food.
  2. Cut each stem at an angle and keep the heights uneven: tallest in the middle, shorter at the sides.
  3. Strip any leaves that would sit under water, then add the stems one by one, turning the vase as you go.
  4. As each flower opens, lift off the yellow pollen with a tissue so it does not stain petals or cloth.

White lily: The green buds open over 3 to 5 days.
