Innocence and purity
Gerbera is a cheerful flower in bold colours, and probably the world’s second most popular cut flower after the rose. It needs only a little water.
Children: Not poisonous if a child tastes it.

How to care for it
- Give it little water: about half a litre with flower food is enough for a bouquet.
- Re-cut and refresh the water every day or two so stems don’t block and heads don’t droop.
- Don’t hold it by the head; the petals bruise.
Did you know? Gerbera is probably the world’s second best-selling cut flower after the rose.
